I was thinking about swapping 94 GT to hydro boost brakes. I was wondering what it takes to make this possible. Can anyone help with list of parts or where the best place to get them at is. Thanks for your help....

Quick question and not trying to be rude, just curious, but why would you want hydroboost on your 5.0L?

The hard part would be finding a powersteering pump to make this work. Once you find a suitable pump that will bolt up to the 5.0 brackets all that will be needed is to hook up all the lines and replace the brake booster with the hydroboost setup. You might even be able to use the stock pump but with a couple of custom lines to mate to the pump.

Seems like a lot of work honestly...what is your reason for wanting to make the swap?

No your not, thats a good question. Well with hydro boost you can run the big wild cams and not have the braking effected. It also cleans up the engine bay and leaves room for stuff. I think it would just be nice instead of the stock brakes. Is there any other benifits to running hydro boost. Im open to any other reasons or reasons against it. This was just a thought I had, Im looking at options right now.

Is the shaft that attaches to the brake pedal from the hydro boost the same length and angle as the regular booster. is this something I should worry about.

Also was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to get new hard lines that are factory bent for 94 Gt with ABS. Everywhere I look says that they have them but doesnt show the pic of the line they sell. lookingto get new lines fron proportioning valve to ABS module and out to each of the calipers.

That one says just like the rest I read. That one is for the whole car but I still dont see the lines that come from the proportioning valve around the front core support and then to the ABS module. I guess I just have to call and ask to see what each one comes with.
