My car is pretty much ready for the road now. I replaced some bad pulley bearings this weekend and got the new rack and pinion on the car. When I bought the car this HyFire VI-AL box was in the back seat. The previous owner said that it works.

Does anyone have one? What can I expect it to do? I don't know how to hook it up yet, or even if I want to hook it up! Is it worth messing with and is there more parts that go with it or is the this only thing that I will need?

I thought that I would ask some questions before going to the website and reading about hooking it up. If it causes a lot of problems, I don't want to mess with it.

Depends on what mods you have, if it's a mostly stock motor the factory system is more then enough.

I'm not sure about all of the engine parts. It has a lot of Ford Racing and Trick flow stuff and it has been bored some. The engine, transmission, and rear end is brand new with only 2000 miles, built by Holcombe Motorsports Racing. The guy that I bought if from ran into some really hard times and had to sell it. I have been working on the car for about a year. It was sitting in a shed for several years. I had to replace all of the cooling system and a lot of the steering system, brakes, pulleys, and bearings. The inspection sticker says 2006. He was racing 2 other Mustangs and was going to make this one into a track car, but never got around to it, due to the economy and slow down of work.
