my speedo is bouncing from0- 20mph!!!!!! what could be the problem. i taught i might have melted the speedo cable buts fine. i checked the speedo gear and its fine. could the cable still be messed up??? help me cause its pissing me off. BTW i got a 2 1/2'' cowl, ill post some pics tomorrow. doesnt look that cool cause its primered but im planning on painting the whole car soon, well when i get some more money :crying:

the part where the cable connects to the speedo? check if any teeth are stripped? check the other end of the speedo cable.

:dunno: not very familiar with how the speedo works lol

It's what I use on speedo cables :hammer: and some RC part's, it's white though, it doesn't attract dirt, they use it on bike shifter cables and brake cables, all kinds of stuff.

thanks for the suggestion btw, seems like it could be the problem. and the the teeth are fine in the speedo gear.

I just lift it as high as I can, and shoot it into the sheath. I have to do it to my truck every few years. Eventually it will break and that will be the end of it, but until then, lithium spray lol.

Silicone spray should work, but WD-40 is pretty worthless, it doesn't really stick to stuff, you know?
