i just called my dad last night. he drive'n my car for cause im still over in Afghanistan for a nuther month and half. well to make a long ass story short. the car sat for about weeks and he drove it the other night. well it trys to die or it just dies when it comes down to idel. and the speed doesnt work any more. the car is fully modded other than boost. i hope my speed cal didnt go out. but why do you guys think it might die like that.

it picks up speed and does not mess up when you floor it of when just idels it only fucks up when you puch in the clutch to come to idel :dontknow:

Sounds like the IAC may be stuck or dirty. Simple fix...

x2 on the IAC or some skunky gas. The speedo is prob related to the speedcal. Check the fuse and the wired connections that go to that little black box.

yea, try the IAC. I'd get a ford replacement part. It seems as if the parts store brand replacements don't last long. I've gone thru 2 in a little under a year.

yeah when i called my dad last night our ford tech told him that is proly the IAC and its an easy fix. the car is going into the shop in a cuple of days to get looked at. my dad would do it but he's a 302 guy and knows nuthing about the mod motors. i will let you guys know whats up with stang when its done. thanks for the in put guys
