Seen a 5.0 94-95 mustang today with a pretty OLD guy driving it. The thing sounded so smooth and loud. THe idle sounded like birds chipping with flowmasters. (prochamber?) but the thing was so loud but he wasnt driving hard. It was just accelerating in traffic at low RPMS. While i had to drive mine up to 3500-4500 RPM just to make some damn noise. I hate my nonpi engine.. i want something loud and sexy as his.

The thing is i owned a o/r prochamber and flows and got rid of it because it was to quiet. I got an o/r H and flows it was okay but sounded BLATTY. So what the fook. That means i need engine work done in order to get a LOUD car with the prochamberor o/r pipe :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4: :angry4:

The guy might have had a o/r x-pipe and flowmaster 40 series, its on my 94. It's really loud from 1500-2500 just cruising around town.

Yeah when i had my car running right off the H pipe it was LOUD. Had a horrible drone but damn it sounded good. I now have a Catco High flow H with 2 High flow Cats and running straight pipes. It is still loud. I am changing that up though and throwing in some Mac flowpath with that high flow H i think it will sound damn good. Might even have to pick up a set of FRPP SS shorty's

It wasn't SLP loud.. it was flowmaster LOUD but sounded good. The guy had to be about 65 with a nice fixed up rio red sn95. I just dont want a loud car.. i want a loud nice sounding car without having to over rev my engine to make some noise. Now i admit i do make noise with my dumps and o/r H but it was nothing compared to his.

i love the sound of a pushrod engine.. 4.6's are unique... but can sound good.. i love my setup.. BBK LT's, bassani o/r X and straight pipe to the rear.. with my cam thumpin at idle... sounds GOOD!!! not like straight headers. it has that high pitched tone that screams! sounds a exactly like this

Yeah that was my old truck. It had a built 302 with shaved heads, a cam and longtubes running straight back to a set of flows. It would walk most lightly modded stangs. I am still mad at myself for selling it. It had a wonderful sound.

I had a an exhaust that composed of an o/r MAC mide pipe and SLP loudmouth exhaust.

It was loud enough to set off car alarms in parking lots and nothing beats a midnite fly by through a residentual housing complex :angel4:

I had to change it back to stock midpipe thought because I had to get it smog checked (D@mn you California DMV!)

there is a guy that lives by me and his 4.6 is stupid loud. not flowmasters. it sounds like crap what ever it is. just a teenager that thinks his car has to be loud to be fast.
