so i finally scrapped out my old probe today along with selling off my old fourwheeler. then monday i have about 8 aluminum probe wheels to scrap. so 700 plus the wheels. to spend on the mustang. i am one of those people who can change there mind alot if i am not exactly sure what i want. I have seen used supercharger kits on ebay. of the full PI swaps sell to. theres so many options. so i would like to find something worth the money that i can do myself. i need to find a way to go. i was told by a dude locally with an 02 that his diablosport tuner made a huge difference. he said its worh it, but his car is quicker than mine to. he ran a 14.4 stock(cai and sts) before the tuner. so i dont know yet. the car is gonna be parked with in the next two weeks so im going to drive the 4 banger probe for gas milage and then buy a winter beater. so any suggestions that would go with LT's 4:10's and a cai

Yes, it will be very noticeable. Especially after 4,000 rpms.

Buy the PI intake and a NOS set up. Plus install the pi cams you've got already and you are sure to feel the difference :thumb:

I agree with the fellas. Install the PI cams, and buy a PI manifold w/ aluminum cross over and throw on a 100 shot and you'll be happy

ok, so i now have a pi intake in the mail. along with my pi cams at my house right now. and i think nitrous is out of the question, even though it would be fun. i just got 2 slicks for the back, that i traded some probe parts for. so if i pick up some wheels, i'll be set. it may not go fast but it will look cool. and once again.------with pi intake pi cams 4:10's cai and slicks. what could a 96 GT automatic run?

If headers are your only exhaust mod, I suggest a x-pipe catback to reap the full benefits. With that and some/all of the other things listed, you should see a big difference.

i've got 4 v6 mustang rims from like a 2000 or a 2001, if you wanna pick 2 of them up i'll see about getting them your way.. pm if interetsed. with your mods i could definately see a low 9s to high 8s in the 8th.. mid14s in quarter.. as long as you can hook it bro

i also have mac LT's on the car along with an o/r X pipe and full exhaust with flowmasters. and for suspension i have ford racing springs with bilstein shocks. and i really think traction shouldnt be an issue because of the slicks. there 28 tall-10.5 wide on 15 inch rims. M/T et drag.

28 inch tall tire is going to slow you down. You need a 26 inch tall tire unless you have 4.30s or better yet 4.56s.
