I have no luck

In the past 2 months I have added a FRPP 190lb fuel pump, 24 lb injectors, adjustable FPR, trunk mount battery, and have been fighting with the valve covers. Now I have a hellacious lifter tick. I have had the upper intake of and on at least a dozen times. I love the car but it don't love me.

have you tried just replacing the lifters and pushrods ? and off topic, i noticed in your sig that you said you have a aode tranny with 4R70W internals, what do those 4R70W internals do for it, i have a stock aode in my 94

The 4r70w is the trans for the 4.6L which has a lower 1st and 2nd gearing. Simirar to running a 4:10 gear out of the hole and a 3:73 for 2nd gear but still the 3:27 for freeway cruising.

I put in Comp hardened pushrods when I added the roller rockers and heads, but am still running the stock cam and lifters.

you might want to try changing the lifters and checking just to make sure the pushrods are the right length, a lifter or somethin may be bad and not setting correctly

you do remember what exactly the gear ratios are for 1st-4th ?
