Check on bob is the oil guy to make sure it's a full syn still.... I know Mobil ones syn hasn't been synthetic but a blend...now you have to pay double to get the true SYN oil

Ive read a lot of Bobs posts on the forums. I stopped by NAPA tonight and they had some AMSOIL full synth for 11.XX a quart. I'll pick up 4 tomorrow and a filter, probably a WIX since those tend to get good ratings as well. FRAM and PURE ONE are not very good at all. I know the local Advance Auto carries WIX filters.

Pitbull rear stand came today, I'll be getting a front one as well at some point. Also did an oil change to get rid of that damn Fram oil filter and the oil was black as hell it deff needed to be changed. My Drain plug bolt was rounded off so it became a day long process trying to get the damn thing off. Finally finished up tonight around 7 and took it out for a quick ride. The new helmet is awesome so light and fits me really well.

Thanks Chris, I keep meaning to take some outside pics in the sun but I was so busy today. If we get some sun tomorrow I will. The color is called Pearl Fire Orange and it has metal flake in it, it really pops in the sun light.

He told me the oil was changed at the start of every riding season but it was pretty black and no way that fram was just put on this spring it was pretty filthy. Either way it has some good oil and a good filter and I'll be sure to change it when it needs it. Luckily its a Honda so it could run off Crisco it if had to.

bah. i hate my life. lol

Pick up a bike Chris .... Honda is the way to go.... For instance my 954 has 24xxx and still going strong and I've had a few friends with 954's going 60k before they rebuild them... Even then they did it bc they want more power... I would like to build a motor for mine.... People are pulling 170-180 at the tire out of a mildly built 954 motor

Riding is so great such a different feeling from being in a car, the freedom and everything you see hear and smell is amplified.

im not responsible enough for a bike. i would die.

im not joking.

well you say that. Take this into perspective my bike weighs in @370lbs dry and is rated @154bhp and 78lbft of torque... That's about a 3.89/hp rider weight and bike weight to hp ratio... You can handle it ;)

exactly !!!!!

its also a big responsibility. Wearing the proper gear ( even though its an individual choice ) and learning properly. Always a good Idea to take the MSF course. I have not taken it yet but its on my list to do next spring. You never stop learning when it comes to riding. The first choice of a bike is always tough, not recommended to jump on a 600cc sport bike but some do and are fine, others are not.

Couldnt have said it better ..... You always learn no matter your age! Always a individual choice...I myself always wear pants. Even though I go short sleeve unless e weather won't allow. I also have rain and winter gear.

It is definitely not recommended to jump to a 600....I immediately jumped to a Z1000 a liter bike with a Supersport engine....which by many people would be a stupid choice. Do I regret my choice ...he'll no I learned to respect the hell out of the bike! I have a personal saying...the day my bike doesn't scare me is the day I sell it and switch to a cruiser!

its the responsibility that would kill me... not the physics. lol.

im the pop-a-wheelie kind of guy....

see luckily my bike wants to do wheelies all day long but I won't bc it was designed to race. So I won't even attempt a wheelie or a burnout on mine.

after your first nut buster or it throwing you off you'll respect it whether you like it or not.

carving corners is a lot more fun then wheelies b/c it requires learning how to properly ride. Plus it does not tear up your fork seals
