ok well im not in the best spot right now(my license is about about to get suspended) and i got pulled over because of my exhaust....i have stock headers, o/r x pipe and super 40's....what can i do to quiet my car down? but still sound good? i plan on getting lt's by the way

LTs + catted X will quiet it down but keep a deep tone.

I'm not that smart, but I'd get your license fixed before I made any car plans. Just what I'd do. What's the sense in fixing up your car if you can't drive it?

eli, im about to staighten the license problem but if i wont be able to drive it ill just redo the exhaust in that time...and will it be quieter if i get lt's catted midpipe and some magnapacks?

Well your car shouldn't be that loud, especially if you don't have headers. Besides, if you don't have headers your just being annoyingly loud anyways. I'm just saying that the majority of your loudness should at least be comming from a performance part, not a dinky muffler. Get headers+quieter mufflers. Anyways... hopefully you get your liscense situated.

I would keep your current catback until you have the X + LTs installed. Magnapacks can be loud, but with cats, they should be pretty nice when off it, loud when on it.

i cruise by cops normally. You guys worry to much. my Mac o/r h and mac catback is only loud if you make it loud or cruising in a too low of gear for the speed your going.

you want to quiet down your car, but you're thinking about putting magnapacks on it??

you should put a stock catback on it and leave the midpipe and that will quiet it down. plus aren't there not many longtube headers you can use in California?
