I was in a similar situation at your age and bought a real nice car and with insurance that thing cost me like 650/mo I sold it cause I wasnt upside down because I bought it from a private seller. Anyways it is awesome to have a sick car but it blows to have to write huge checks like that for a car. 03/04's are sick but a few local guys I know got rid of them when the factory warranty ran out.

if you really think that buying a cobra and committing to the payments/insurance for the next few years is going to help you be in a position to move out, you need to think again......
and don't forget you will need a winter beater now too. As much as we all like to think that they are cheap, there is an expense with those as well.

yea after thinking about it, its not the best idea after all. i think ill just find a decent daily driver for dirt cheap and build the hell out of my car
It looks like you already have a nice car so build it up like you said. I have alot more respect for the people that build their cars up and make them sick than somebody who just opens their checkbook and buys a Termi.

My insurance just went up, so even though I have the money for a better mustang im going to hold off too.
