Can you afford the payments? Do you have more than what your car is gonna sell at for a down payment? Have you looked into insurance?

well i make enough for the payments and insurance. cause i still live at home which if i got this car it would help build my credit so i can move out eventually which is another pluse. so the only bills i really have are small bills like cell phone and college loan

a $20k car, is roughly about $400 a month. Plus insurance on the beast, how old are ya? Insurance may break you on it. I know it did me when I was younger and looking at a Cobra.

How much is insurance. Cause you're under 25 and it will have to be full coverage...

Just some friendly advice, as cool as it would be to have a Cobra, dont make that the only thing you have money to afford. You can have a sweet car, but without any other money to still go out and enjoy yourself with some friends, whats the point? that isnt any fun.

Agreed. You might be able to pay for the car, but it shouldn't where all your money is going.

Besides: what if the car breaks down? Or if you accidently hit something? It would be a waste if you pay all your money to owning a Cobra and you don't have money to fix it.

Whats up man, and whats up forums, sorry for the horrible delay in staying with the forum, Korea is not free time friendly in my career field. Anywho, I would have to side with everyone on the forum. Watch the insurance prices. It may be affordable, but it can creep up on ya, plus it is a good point that it is a 6 year old car. for the 20K, you can pull the motor out of your current ride, and put a nice MMR engine in there for about a quarter the price. Its up to you in the long run though...

^^^ GREAT advice ^^^

Your car looks to be in great shape, I'd say keep it and use the money you would spend on the Cobra and start socking it away. There are always going to be '03-'04 Termis available.
Maybe use the saved up money to move out of the house, pay for next semester's tuition, etc.
Give yourself a week, I've always found that the "want" usually wears off over time

This is evident by all the mods in your sig lol

LOL It would seem that way... But I've owned my GT since new in 1994, so I've owned it nearly 17 years! So doing the math, that's only about 1.13 mods per year...LOL
