I love my car but as the wife and I search for new/nearly new cars for her, I can't help but look back in the inside of mine after spending a day looking inside new cars and thinking "Fuck this car is old and outdated looking inside."

My only comment to that would be kind of around the same lines as "sweet94GT" is that you can make changes. Your GT is basically bone stock which is a perfect platform. Make some upgrades that it will make you fall back in love with it. Yes it's not as fancy as the 2013s but still. I understand you don't spend a ton of money on mods for your car though (as explained in another thread)

Elaborating more on what Brian said, I'm not big on the stock interior I had. I'm ripping the opal grey interior and replacing it with black, and I wanna replace the 2 year old two tone leather seats with possibly black leather or cloth, but preferably custom two tone suede like the Lightnings had. It's your car, and is a blank slate. Make it your masterpiece

I've always wanted a Viper and don't feel like I can have two toys right now. I'm not ready for a Viper though so the Cobra is staying for now; it's been paid off for a while and is relatively cheap fun.

I love my interior, all black with the stock leather seats. A leather and suede combo would be sharp. However, I do think things need updating. I have been looking at a new head unit that has bluetooth and a rear usb input, so I can run a usb extension to the center counsel for a jump drive full of tunes. I recall someone on here switching out the rear view mirror with an auto dimming one, that includes a thermometer. Even upgrading to the double din dash and throwing in a touchscreen would make it look a decade newer.

LED swap, 01 Cobra seats, Bullit Pedals, FR500 steering wheel, nice radio, my car felt pretty new on the inside back in the day.

But I hear you on missing them, I sold mine and bought it back.
