well a while back i asked what i should do regarding getting a 351 or making my 5.0 turbo well the 351 got sold and well i still have the turbo but i kind off dont have time or money to start a big project so 2 weeks ago a guy at the track was selling a nitrous bottle for $200 and i got him to go down to 100 :icon_rr: so i bought it, it includes a NOS 10lb bottle (full) lines , one solenoid and a nozzel and a 65 jet well heres where i need help i plan on running a 150shot i already bought the 2 step colder spark plus and plan on retarding my time by 6 degrees what else do i need anything i should worry about and last and most important question im i gonna blow my self up? :confused1:

ohh also if anyone has a t-5 that works i needs but i only have about $120 to spend right now...

well the guy was running it like that and he showed me and it worked wich one do i need?

well, is it a wet kit or a dry kit? Since he ran it with only 1 selenoid I am assuming it is a dry kit since a dry kit is injector dependent.

If it is infact a dry kit, doing a 150 shot is not something I would recommend.

it is a dry kit and why would u not recommend it does it lag ? or does it break things?

it is to much for stock injectors. i would maybe just do a simple 75 shot.

agreed on a dry nitrous setup only run a 75 shot.. if you wanna get a set of lightning injectors and run more then feel free but make sure you get it tuned for the injectors and nitrous

thanks for the heads up but not to contradict but a while back i was reading mm&ff and on there they had a 5.0 stock and were running 100shot altough they did change the fuel pump for a bbk 255lph the at the end of the article they said that in order to run the 150 shot all they would need was 2steps colder spark plugs and sum sort of retarding device, also is there a way to change to a wet shot?

it was probably a wet shot. thats what i will be running a 100 shot wet system. cause you have to think about it bro. it is a good possibility that your car/my car, our cars run a little lean from the factory so basically if you try to justify running a 100-150 shot on stock injectors think about how much it will run lean. ALOT. now to do it safely i would keep the bottle sell the rest of the kit, get a wet kit set up, get two step colder plugs and retard you ignition 1-2 degrees for every 50 shot. basically make a mark on your timing pointer to 3 degrees before base timing. so say about 8-9 degrees BTDC. so you know where to turn it before you race at the track.
