Our local Veterans Support Group put on a small benefit show today so I went & was awarded the First Place in Modern Muscle! Pretty surprising when they called my name..really surprised as I thought a super clean Roush Stage 1 vert (RED) was surely going to win...however the judges liked my mods & cleanliness so I was pretty happy. Plus the rain held off! About 30-40 cars so I guess I had a pretty good chance...not anything major but fun neverrtheless.

Can we get some pics of the engine bay? It looks pretty clean from the pic with the hood up

Congrats, Mustanger!
You have a very clean & tastefully modded GT. Our car shows are all but over out here in the midwest.

Thanks a lot everyone..I really appreciate the compliments. I'll get some engine bay pics up real soon. My wife & I spent a few hours detailing under there recently & it looks decent now for a car that has 150k miles on it but still is not perfect show quality like I will have it someday. Plus why do pics always show the dirt so well? LOL... I am leary of washing & spraying cleaner all over the engine components & electrical connections so it is all hand cleaning. Can hardly wait to pull the engine & REALLY get in there with new paint & hiding the wires!

Those pics were sent to me by a friend & were pretty small... but I may be able to find a bigger one or two, thanks again for the interest. Sure nice how a 17 year old Mustang can be of such interest!

Oh yeah, mod list...I am doing foundation work before touching the engine...so far I have added the Eibach ProKit Plus full suspension struts & shocks, Replica DD Bullitt rims with staggered 275/315's - 17" tires, Russell SS brakes lines, Powerslot rotors & Hawk HPS pads, Steeda TriAx, Steeda CC plates, Steeda Clutch Quadrant, Firewall adjuster, Fidanza Clutch, MagnaPack Catback (with stock cats), MM full length subframes, a few MSD tuneup items, Redline Hood Struts, and a blue Raptor shift light to match the blue dash lights. Added a few MGW dress up knobs/interior items, the blue stripes & Roush window banners & badges because I love the 360R series Roush cars. And a K&N drop in air filter.Engine is otherwise stock down to the snorkel!

I have a new set of Bullitt/Cobra PBR brakes waiting to go on and some Ford OEM 3:55 gears, OEM Cobra clear headlights, for my Christmas list I hope to get some MM adjustable lower Control Arms and a Panhard bar setup.

Car looks good man, congrats on the trophy. Don't worry too much about spraying down the engine, they are pretty waterproof for the most part.

Agreed. I use black magic and it does wonders. All it takes is a little water to wash it off and you'll be set.

Congrats on the trophy!

I rarely attend car shows but I actually entered my car in one this summer and surprisingly walked away with a 2nd place trophy...

It's nice to see someone appreciates what you have done, very rewarding feeling to hold a trophy in your hands.

That green car was a hand built chassis & a fibreglass body kit with a late model Corvette engine!! Absolutley beautiful car & garnered a LOT of attention. It was perfect in every detail but was not street legal. It was trailered in & never driven...I don't respect those kind very much but it was good looking for sure!

There were a few other neat hotrods in that class plus new & old cars. A restored stock 61 Impala white with blue interior trophied & he deserved it. Wish I had taken my camera now.

Congrats to YOU Greenscobie86!! That is great for you too...these cars give us a lot don't they?
