I want to cut my tailpipes off.

ok i wanna cut my tailpipes off for some dumps,now the only way for me to do it is with a sawzaw when i do that will the mufflers be hanging cause they are bolted up to my h pipe.and if they are hanging would it be ok to leave it like that.any input would be greatly appreciated.

NO... you'll eventually bend them down, because of the weight and the bouncing... just find a muffler shop and have them weld in a tailpipe connector right at the end of the dump, i assume right before the rear axle?

mufler shop will charge you about 25-30 dlls to cut them off and weld some turn downs
