Hey guys so let me fill you in on something. Well it has to do with ball joints. THEY ARE A PITA A LIVING B**TCH LITERALLY. Every part up to the manual pressing of the ball joints is fine. It's going good your like wooo hooo this is good i'll be done soon. Well put it this way don't even bother doing it yourself just have someone with a press at a shop do it. Take the Arm off and go have the old and new ball joint pressed in. I am only doing it because they quoted me 65 a side to press them out and in and i said F that i can do it. Being the big manly man. Well it's kicking my A** 2 1/2 hours later and only one side is done. On the plus side i did get the new lowering spring in on one side :) I have to do the others tom.

You have to exert more force then that. Just wacking it won't do the trick your liable to knock it out of true. You have to exert a proper force all the way aroundto get it to come out. I got one side out. I know the other one will be just the same. I'll get it done no worries.

sounds easy, but i personally think it wouldn't be that simple to do. how are you going to get a sledge hammer to work when your car is on a jack stand and your trying to hit something precise?

Mine were rusted, took half a can of PB blaster for each side.

Yeah i let one side soak for 2 hours before even attempting the manual press. I also used PB Blaster. The pass side is soaking in the PB now.

Much easier to just add the 03/04 Cobra A arms with Bjoints installed. Mine were under $150

If i could have found them for $150 i would have done it too. But even the used ones i have seen has still been 200 bucks.

Holy Crap i just checked John Bleakley Ford where i bought mine for 137.50 and they are now 252.00. F'in Ford always jacks up the price on the stuff we like or breaks.
They did it on IAC's and 4.6 Intake Manifolds, Chin Spoilers and 13" brake kits and now these. I'm glad i bought most of my stuff early.

This isn't a part you would normally use air tools on.

Besides maybe the ball joint seperator.
