i would go have 2 cats welded on. that will be the cheapest option for you. you will not loose the tone but it will quiet your car down enough
Is it that simple? I think I currently have MIL eliminators for my ORH pipe, so cats would have holes that needed to be plugged (where the 02 sensors go), correct? A buddy of mine has some cheap ones that he'd sell me, so I may just have them welded in if it's that simple and easy for a quick fix.

"Mom" Wants it Quiet......So Get "Mom" To Buy "You" a Catted X-Pipe and Bassani Catback.

....everyone wins. But since "Mom" Wants it quiet, them "Mom" needs to pay for it. Just blame the whole situation of "Mom" paying for it on "This Damn Economy"

I have to agree with most here, either get some of the Hi-flow SLP cats from AM and have them welded in or get a catted X or H. And I would see if Mom was willing to pay for this "forced mod". ;)

Buddy has some brand new SLP cats he'll sell me for $20, so I'm going to see what size they are. I need 2.25".

If I already have MIL eliminators for my ORH, can I feasibly just weld some cats up in there if they're only for the sake of quieting it?

Don't worry about the MIL's...just keep the MIL's on and have the cats welded in.

Or...as others have said, tell ur mom you made it quieter, and then just be real careful around ur house haha

my mustang was loud until I go my 7.3 powerstoke. It just sounds like it is time for you to leave the nest. Find a large woman with a large bed and work on the snuggle mod or buy a house. Houses are really cheap right now and fat girls are plentiful. :book1: look up the flour trick

Yeah, I might do that along with welding in some Magnaflow 4x9s in place of the Macs.

Sorry, I only do hot chicks. :) And I've been saving to move out for a couple years now, so I'm getting close.

I have a prochamber and I don't like the way it sounds at all... might do more power to go with one but IMHO it sounds no where as good as a x or h pipe. I would just get 2 Mac weld in Cats and that should quiet it, make it run cleaner, and make it street legal... at least in my state anyway. Good luck.
