I dont know if this is the right place to post this, but if it isnt a Mod can move it I guess. Im on an SN search and I found this car about 2.5 hrs from me. From its pictures and description it looks clean. The owner seems really cool and is alright with me getting it checked over by my dads repair shop. Its been modified but nothing to extreme. Im trying to get it for $4200 if it checks out ok with my dads place, I offered 4k but he wasnt having it.

151k

He said he has never tracked the car, or had it tuned but says it runs/idles fine.

Here are its mods:
Trick Flow Track Heat intake, CAI, BBK Equal Length headers, BBK O/R H-pipe, New Flowmaster mufflers and new 2 1/2" flowmaster tailpipes. Ford Racing 9mm plug wires blue. B&M Ripper shifter installed after tranny was rebuilt. Ford Racing HD Clutch, B303 cam. 3.55 gear, Pulleys, 255lph Walbro Fuel Pump, Pro-M 75mm Mass Air and BBK 70mm Throttle Body. Bullitt wheels with new 235-45-17 tires. New Header Panel, and battery.

I asked about the trans rebuild and said it included new synchros and bearings, and said the gears looked fine.

Another question I have is what could I expect this car to put down to the ground hp/tq wise and maybe some ballpark 1/4 times. It looks like it only needs a re-tint job, some wider tires and a drop at the moment, of course other things would come in the future.

Here are a few pictures from the thread.

From the pictures it looks like it just needs a little TLC and it be a fun car. But id like everyones input since im a noob in the Mustang world.

Thanks!

Looks nice. Does it still have the stock heads? Cars with the full Trickflow H/C/I to seem to be right under 300hp to the wheels so if its still running stock heads I'd guess around 240-250hp. Its looks like a good starting point. How many miles does it have?

Looks pretty clean. How many miles? If its not a hole lot, its probably worth the money.

Sorry, it has 151k. Seems to have been taken care of and he has owned it for along time it seems. Of course its going to go through a very detailed lookover once my car sells and things get rolling.

Re: I looking into this 95 GT.

At first I offered $3800, and he declined and said he had offers for 4k and didnt take them. I cant pay much more than $4200, but if it came down to it, id prob pay $4500 if it runs good and I can afford it.

With its mods and cam, would it need a tune asap, or could it wait a bit. Im assuming hes been driving it so id think it be ok I guess, but im just trying to get other opinions.

You could run it without a tune. It would most likely make a decent difference if you get it tuned though. My car desperately needs a tune but I still run mine just fine. That car looks super clean 150k on the clock.

i like the orange one in the background

151k is ALOT of miles, i dont think ive ever seen a stang that high before

i got my 95 gt with 76k, with a fresh rebuild for 4k, and it came with rims and a hood and stuff

try and get him to go lower man, maybe mustangs are less common by u, but i have friends with nicer stangs for less around here

I really dont think he will go down, like i said I offered $3800 and he declined, and hes declined 4k in the past. I guess he is in no hurry to get rid of it. I just keep thinking its a good deal since ill most likely never have to mess with the transmission, it has alot of the parts id buy for it anyway, it looks clean, its a color and the interior I want.

It's well worth 4500 if he'll take that. I've seen stangs in worse condition with less mods for more money than that. Scoop it up man.

+1 with the rediculousy good looking stang above me. As long as it checks out all good and you like how it runs then get it real quick. ALSO, if that car has different than stock rear end gearing then the odometer will be wrong without a tune!!!

Re: I looking into this 95 GT.

He said he never changed the gear for the speedometer, and said the odometer is about 2k higher than what it shows. I know he wants alot, which is why im still looking for other GTs around me that could be a better deal, but as right now this one is at the top.

151,000 is not a lot if you take care of a motor and do proper mait on them. My old 95 F150 had a stock bottom end with 300k and had shaved heads a huge cam and still ran like a banchee. Only drank about 1/4 qt of oil every 3,000 miles or so. I bought mine with 165 on it.
