Naturally i would say marauder, but the SS with no payments would be more badass.

marauders look like cop cars and too grandmaey IMO, but I'm kind of biased on cars that look kinda weird

I would go Impala ss, everyday car I assume?, so it's fwd and be easier to drive in diff types of weather. also i guess it's a 94-96 cause it's an lt1, so it's newer and looks pretty good

I would be an all out chevy man if it wasn't for the mustang, I didn't plan on getting a mustang, but then i got one and fell in love :)

now I like em both.

dodge is ew.

Lol, I love Donk, just saw one on Craigslist with "13" of custom lift and overszie 24's" lol.

Seriously though, it's probably gonna be a Chevy, wouldn't be my first BTW, I have a 69 Blazer that may never be put together again. I happen to like some Chevy's.

Reality, the Impala is rwd.

You guy's in the South and southeast, keep your eye's peeled for me please, because I will totally go to TX or FLA to get one that doesn't know what winter is.

I actually looked into picking up a Magnum or Charger, since the bigshot Dodge dealer around here is a family friend, but they want 28k for the Magnum, and 33 for a Charger (Hemi of course), which would just make me get on 05-up GT, wtf?

I'm seriously considering a Roadmaster wagon, or maybe a Fleetwood... I'm really kind of wierd, but I've always wanted an ass-kicking wagon, lol.

the SS ftw. you can beat the snot out of it and it keeps going. also If you put studded snow on the rear you are not getting stuck. I owned 3 impalas/caprices 77-350,79-305 and 89-350.

I look at it like this: Sure, you'll have a car payment with the Marauder- but, at least for a little while, you'll tally the equivalent of a payment a month in the work an older 9C1 or SS would need, even if you're loan-free. It's the age-old conundrum of newer and less problematic vs. older and needs work...

Then again, my Stang is giving me the worst of both those worlds lol

I'm biased toward the Marauder but we've had numerous Panther-chassis cars in the family (I had a '95 Marquis LS before getting my Stang) and my dad currently drives an '03 CV LX Sport.

Ultimately you gotta go with what you like and can afford. I like the Impala SS but the newest ones are now 12 years old...

It's probably gonna be a Chevy, I can rebuild the trans in my sleep, and even an engine rebuild is dirt friggen cheap. I wouldn't be putting more than 3k into the Chevy, still less than the Marauder. Either way it's gonna get modded, so I may as well start cheaper, since I'm throwing everything away anyway.
