DELETE AWAY...! when your wot your over 2.8K rpms so basicly the imrc's are only good for saving gas while ur pussyfooting around town...rememebr ford didnt build these engines to their full potential, they had ALOT of emissions shit to deal with...Fk the egr too while ur at it..

So if I delete the IMRCs then the switch has to go too right? And what's the egr gotta do with it?

egr's are ugly and recirculate nasty air...but if you have emission leave it...i honestly dont know if imrc delete effect emissions ive read this and that on that topic so i dont...and if you were deleting them id buy the imrc delete plates...and then im pretty shur the imrc controller is obsolete...

you can probably leave the controller. im not 100% sure tho....

you can remove the paddles and then seal the holes shut to avoid buying the expensive plates...

i suggest leaving egr. it doesnt hurt performance and it improves MPG, plus it helps keep re-sale value and you wont have to worry about passing emissions.

^^^Are you throwing a code now? If you're not throwing a code and your IMRC's are working then you might have other issues with your car running slow times. When you delete the IMRC's theres no need to keep the controller since thats usually the problem with stuck IMRC's. What rpm where you shifting?

My imrc were broken and mine still didn't throw a code. When I deleted them, I removed the controller and only threw a code once. Cleared all my codes and it hasn't been back since.

Not gonna lie, it confuses me as it should be giving a code

You can tune the function of the IMRC to be non-existent.. No codes.. We did the same mod to our s197, as the "charge motion" blades NEVER opened due to a severed wire and seriously, like sadist Asian whore choked the 3v.

Rodent infestation, no BS lol.

Fux the IMRC chit, you need gears and n2o!!

J/k!!

If you go to the track with a buddy, take EVERYHING out of your car (jack, spare, tools, bodies, everything you can unbolt to get your fighting weight down) and have said buddy stand guard over your pile.

Lets dissect your time slip in the right:

60' = 2.4627 That tells me you still have 245's on your ride. You also you should consider practice with your launch rpms to find that "sweet spot" btw bogging and roasting the hides.

The 91.84 mph trap speed tells me your car could've ran around the 14.80 range. That will come with practicing different shift points thru the gears. You can be faster with what you have, it just takes practice my brother!!

If you delete them (I would), you can create a relay to fool the ECM into thinking the IMRc's are working.

I ran a similar time to that when my IMRC's were not working. Hope it is your problem. If it isn't. You have other issues.

You should be trapping at least 100 mph if you are a half decent driver.
