www.ebay.com :slap: :hammer:

Ok, The Powerdyne is cheap, that's the main plus in it's favor. The belt run's it alot quiter than the gear's. The same thing however raises the amount of heat it pumps into the inlet air. They really aren't any good past 10 psi, even though people do it. People do alot of goofy thing's though. Not too much left after the factory kit.

The Vortech, well it's a known quantity. No one ever say's their Vortech is junk, ever. The S-trim can run to about 16 psi fairly efficiently, and it makes a cool sound. The Vortech is upgradeable as much as your heart desires also.

Shop the corral, and you can get a Powerdyne for around 1800 on sale, a Vortech tuner kit for about 2200, plus either a MAF/pump/injectors (around 500 to 600, or less depending on how you shop), or a FMU (200).

I've seen used Vortech's go, complete, on the corral, for under 2k, some for under 1500.

NES got his powerdyne for 700, I've seen them for around 1k. Patience pays.

thanks for the info dude, i would rather have the vortec, that way when i swap i could get a different bracket and swap the thing to the cobra :) but i've not found any deals on them yet. But then again, if i did find a deal... what would i do abou it with no money... as they say money talks and bull sh*t walks. I'm going to start saving after the 5 speed and 4.10 swap on the car :)

Anyone one else? Send me some INFO lol

BTW They don't adertise them for that price, it would violate their agreement with Vortech, but they will PM you that price.

Poweedynes are junk. They make no power, honest to god when it says your making 10 pounds of boost its like 4.. compared to vortech or procharge they are pathetic. Going the cheap way in this case i wouldnt recommend. Youll be changing kit i guarentee it when you buy a powerdyne. two friends had them, both dont anymore.Big waste of $ and time.P1SC is the way to go for a good kit.

Powerdyne is a street supercharger and that is it. The Powerdyne is designed for moderate power for a nice little improvement.

Powerdyne's (unless it is the new XB Supercharger) can not be overspun more than the stock 9PSI pulley.

10lb blower pulley and the stock crank pulley. headunit had about 6k on it, tops. zero track time

You see tons of rebuild kits on Ebay for a reason.

If your looking for more then 350ish RWHP, do a Vortech/Paxton/Procharger.

from what i was told mine has the 928motorsports rebuild kit on it, should be good for around 14 psi. its a good blower and DOES make power, considering 180hp(stock)- 235hp(after powerdyne with no tune seeing 2psi) i think its a good improvment.

but every1 on this site i blieve who has owned a powerdyne will say it did the job, but another blower coulda done it better. ill be one to say i like powerdyne, the ease of installation makes it ideal for low boost applications, but when i want more power its gotta go...
