Installation of Hellion Turbo System and finishing a 3 year build (AKA planB)

I mentioned it in the no go Rotrex thread, but thought start a new thread on what plan B is to get my eternal car project DONE!

Hellion!!!

I met with Craig last week while I was in Al's Barbeque, and got the low-down on their stuff.
They have good feedback, good parts, and build a nice kit, and they're in stock!!!!!!
So00000000000 I ordered one :thumb:

62mm Turbonetics Turbo
Ball Bearing upgrade
upgraded BOV
and the rest of their very nice intecooled kit.

the rest of the plan B package will include:
Wallburo in-tank pump / injectors
Edelbrock 4.6 Intake mainfold
Edelbrock fuel rails
Sheetmetal Elbow and TB (as pictured below)
Removal of coil backs, replaced with single coil-over-spark.
Maximum Mororsports Hellion specific K member and A arms.

Rob at Forced Air Fabrication is putting it all on and doing the tune.
He's the same Rob that did all the tuning for Tad. he's a really sharp guy.

I'm having him finish it because 1- I'm super busy, and 2- I want him to tune it.
he's probably one of the best tuners in the country.
the kit should hit his shop next week


Here's the IM and TB i'm getting, this one is powder coated black, mine will be duratuff polished look finish.

it's an enigma!

I can speculate, but my reslults will be posted, loaded & rear wheel HP.

Should do awsome on the stroker/ported heads/cams :crazy2:

Alot is my guess. My close friend Joshua put down 441whp 494tq on a bone stock 01 GT with Accufab plenum/TB and Dynomax mufflers at 10#. With Dal's car being stroked with ported heads, cammed and 18#, you can just imagine the power.

Heres a video of Joshua's car for you Dal. Should get you even more excited about your cars future.

(FWIW, the race at the end of the video is the 01GT vs our friend Brian's 03 Cobra with intake/exhaust. The GT had 3 people in it, the Cobra had 2 people. GT missed 2nd gear in the first race.)

It's gonna be fun, that's for sure. Really wish I could have given you a ride in the twin car while you were out here, that would have been a good time. Oh well, you'll have one of your own here in no time. :coolsmiley:

Indeed they were. The guy you hear laughing while the burnout is taking place is Joshua's brother Luke, who has a Hellion kit on a Man-o-War 331, AFR headed monster motor in his '92 LX. The Lightning your riding in when the race takes place as the end of Dave (92GreenGT on here) who also has a Hellion kit on his '92 GT. Turbo mustangs are abundant in our little area Hopefully I shall be joining in on the fun by Christmas, although I'll be using a B&G Custom Turbo, or Ponydown kit.
