installed my 98 taillights

i just put these in today. i painted the bezels black until i can get them body color. i'm very happy with them! :santa_grin:

i liked the horizontals too, but the bezels dont come off, and mine needed to be repainted and i did not want to have to mask them off, and they dont make sequentials for the horizontals, so i went with the newer ones!

i know.....like i say, i love craigslist. i bought them off a wrecked 98 cobra. the lights are PERFECT. there is one veeeerrryyy light scratch on the passenger side lense, but i could polish it out in less than five minutes. you cant see if from 4 ft away. the horizontals i had were so aged, these made a huge difference.

how did you get your grommet off to get the harness out?

it was no problem. just pryed at the back of the grommet with a flat-head and it popped right out. same on both the 98 and 94, it was simple.

Aren't you the one who asked about which spacers to buy? Do you have them on your car yet? I like the standard 94-95 lights better. I just like these if you like them!
