Hello,

I think that the Edelbrooks is the best, but if your got the originals heads it's will not make a big difference.

i have the trick flow street and felt little improvements as i still have my stock heads. but the trick flow has a power band of idle-5500. thats why i got it-street racing purposes!! ;)

I'd say go for the REGULAR performer or the trick flow street. The RPM II and Track Heat aren't going to help you....

Is the Holley Systemax a candidate? I could tell a big difference with it and stock heads.

Well i have 165 heads, and the cobra intake, i've wondered if the cobra intake is anywhere near as good as Trickflow\Edelbrock etc, or would the difference be unnoticeable?

well i'm planning on dropping some heads too but i just need the car to breath better that stock intake is freaking killing me man. after 5 grand the car loses power and it just stops pulling.from 2k to 5k the car is a beast on the bottle but after that it starts dying slowly. I think the RPM2 and some twisted wedge or afr heads will be a very nice set up.

trick flow because its sounds tighter to say. I have the TFS street heat intake and it pulls pretty hard til about 5500 rpm. Which with a stock short block is probably where you need to be shifting anyways. You can't go wrong with either manufacture of those intakes.

if u can get the rpm 2 for $400 get it. i work at a speed shop and i cant get a regular performer for $400 :dunno:
so if u get that deal go for it. on all motor itll lose torque but on the bottle ull definitely get horsepower out of it.

I read somewhere(i believe it was here) you can buy the RPM, the original, not the RPMII, port it, and it will actually outflow the RPM, not only more air, but also faster. i think i'm going with the AFR 185's and an Edelbrock RPM when the money is here.

I get instake stuff used. To me there not a "wear part" for the most part because they are just flowing air and no moving parts. I got my tfs intake for 250 used. So I'd look around a get a good used one.

oh crap i don't know what to do now  :dunno: can afr185's be used on my gt with stock pistons becasue if i can use these heads then i'll definitely get the rpm 2 because i could port it later on for more air flow.... what you think?

what are the best heads i could use with my edelbrock set up? will th rpm 2 work better with afr's, twisted wedges, edelbrock, or holley heads.....i'll be pushing over a 250 shot of nitrous on a tune of course but i also like to have a decent street car you know around 300-320 horse power or something around that area if i want a beast the i just flip the EVIL switch and go.... what you think???? NITROUS FTW...
