Now I am debating. What about the bullitt intake, throttle body, and cai? I know where I can get all that fairly cheap, and was wondering if I could get better power gains with the bullitt set up instead of the PI intake, tb, and cai? I got PI heads (supposed to get ported but I am running out of time for sr project, might not port them) I got comp 262s, which I may trade for 270s but I dont know if I have to notch the pistons or not. Anyone know the answer to that question either? Thanks!

You will see some gains by using the Buillitt Intake over PI but i think you better be getting the intake cheap because for the money I dont think its worth $700 for 5-10 more hp

I can get the whole bullitt set up for $400 (intake manifold, TB, and the CAI). You think its worth it?

It's worth it for 700, it's the best intake out, never cracks or leaks, and may only pick up 10 hp at peak, but picks up more like 15 on average acrossed the board, and can support a motor to over 7000 rpms.

I had a regular PI intake on my car, but it choked out badly at 6500 rpm. By 7500 I was pulling 3 inches of vacuum through it.

Add cams and exhaust to any mod motor, and the intake becomes a limiting factor. It's pretty good, for the money some of these intakes bring (like Logan and Fox Lake), bigger gains can be found elsewhere.

But if you guy's can score Bullit's, complete for 400 bucks, or even 700, snag em. When i was shopping for intakes, they were still fetching 1200 bucks and more.
