smart, lets advertise that you race illegally on the street. lol. why dun you just get a gt-40 upper/lower intake, 65mm throttle body, CAI, some good headers ( bbk, frpp, etc....) and a decent exhaust. Unless your planning to make 400+hp That would be more than enough.

Track heat is a great intake but you won't reap the complete benefits of what it can do unless you running some trick-flow heads also. trick-flow parts are real finicky about working well together. I'm sure a trick-flow intake will work well with some gt-40 heads, I only suggested gt-40 everything, cuz for street performance you can get a pretty good gain, and it's relatively cheap. hit up local junkyards, find yourself a 302 exploder or mountaineer and bang, there ya go. most junkyards will sell it to ya stupid cheap to, cuz they dun realize it's actually an upgrade for a stang.

well i have the chance to buy the all combo gt40p heads/intake l/u for 300 bucks, here in mexico that parts are even more cheap cause the people that run the junkyards dont have idea of the upgrade, so for the half of the track heat intake i will do a little best numbers thant stock and can breath a little more freely than stock?

if you can spare the cash, get ur hands on a cam also. nothing extreme just a frpp e303, b303 or similar, and you will be more than happy with your results.

My opinion is that intakes dont get the full benefits unless you do a full HCI. Save money and time and use a little giggle juice, but thats coming from a nitrous junky.

Most cams you have to get it tuned afterwards for it to idle properly because of the low vaccum. There are a few cams out there for our cars that don't need a tune to run good like a Steeda #19.

2k-6.5k rpms

I gained 37 RWHP going from a stock intake to a Holly Systemax.

^^^^ I stand corrected but that is also a what, $550 intake? A little steep in this economy

Runs around $100 more than your Trickflow intake depending on which TF you get and where you purchase the intakes. Thats also the new price. Theres usally a couple used on Corral for around $400 shipped, there are atleast 2 on there right now.

Yes you will see more HP on the dyno using a holly or trickflow over the gt40 intake with any heads.
