Intake temp

I'm using a super vic spider intake. Do you think the intake gets hot enough to melt wires? I couldn't see it getting that hot,just courious.

No, on my turbo malibu i had the water pump wires ran under the intake runners and never ever haany sort of issue even when i ran it really hard. I drove it as much on the street as i did at the track 5.30 1/8 mile
