Hot chemical strip? Pressure washer only? Big ass flexible pipe cleaner + some kind of spray like Super Clean, brake cleaner, or intake cleaner??

Going to have it ceramic coated immediately afterwords. Maybe the TB, too.

it is just oil and crap, no need to overthink it. Dishwashing soap or simple green will break it down, a pressure washer if you have access would make it a little faster but I would probably wrap some plastic around the snout/input to seal it off and then I would fill it with soap/water and let it set over night or for as long as I could. After that just rinse it out as good as possible and then let it dry.

Filled it 2/3 with a cocktail of Super Clean+ brake cleaner+ Simple Green then added boiling water. Let it stew a while then blew the snot out of it with 3000psi pressure washer…. and STILL didn’t clean as I had hoped. Guess I’ll cough up the $200 for the hot chemical dip

just leave it in overnight first. You might also look at walmart for a product called citristrip. It is a citrus based paint stripper so no toxic fumes, but it does take a while to work. I have used it to strip powdercoating overnight it should do the same here.

You need to scrub. Not just a power washer. Brake clean and Castrol Super Clean will get it done.
Why do you need to clean it? Is it all built up? Every car has a layer of carbon in there

No, it’s nowhere near the point of being clogged or anything like that. Just thought how much better and crisper(?) it would run if it were in a Day 1 right off the production line condition. But if you expand the picture, you can see it’s more like a “film” of carbon coating, not built up or clogged by any measurable amount.
