INTERCHANGEABLE EXHAUST QUESTION

would the exhaust off a 03 gt with 3in tips frm the xpipe back bolt right up on my 94 gt with no problems? thx guys for the help

I had a 03 GT exhaust on my car. It was the stock size though. The problem may be the full 3" piping going back if you have fat rear tires. Why do you need a 3" exhaust? Are you going forced induction or a massive motor. You'll end up hurting yourself.

I think he means just the exhaust tips are 3"...it should bolt up but you will have to get new hangers put on the exhaust tips since they changed in 98.

Then explain to me how a Stock take off 03 Gt exhaust bolted right up to my 94 with no problems just rewelded where it was cut.

I don't think you have to get new hangers welded onto the tips, just get the 98+ style tailpipe hangers for the car.

well thx anyways guys but i just ended up pickin up some virgin a$$ tailpipes and flow tubes off a local forum for 30 bucks! and i got a centerforce dual friction clutch with 500 miles for 80 bucks...im planning on running straight pipe all the way out the back...wat resonators do u think i shud run?i want it to sound mean..i was thinking juss pickin up some cherry bombs watcha think?
