i have an alpine deck with the iPOD interface in the back. I used to leave it in my glove box until it stopped reading my ipod every so often. Id have to unplug it and hit play then plug it in. so now i just tuck it in between the pass. seat and the center console

I have an Xplod deck, and I keep it in the glovebox. It only freezes when it gets too hot out.

I have mine in my center console. I just bought me a long RCA cable with a headphone jack at one end and the RCA plugs at the other. I ran the wire from the radio inside the center console into my center console compartment and it stays in there. When Im using it the iPod sits on the E-brake handle. Hope that helps.

I changed consoles recently so while it was out I hooked up the Aux Ipod cable for my stereo & ran it into the console...I keep it in a black cover & it is nearly invisible in there! LOL...the wife could not find it!

if the deck controls the ipod like in my truck the ipod is in the glove box.

However before it didnt so I had it sitting in the cup holder. That deck is going in the stang so the cable is going to go under the console and either come out the sig lighter or side.

I still have the factory Mach460, so I run my Ipod and sat radio through a tape adapter.

I want to run the cable behind, but the input jack is in the front. Any ideas?
