To pop out a dent in the rear corner of my bumper using a heat gun. I am not worried about the paint right now. Its just buging me

I've never done it but I do know that it can pop out hail damage. My very first car was a black ford ranger that got beat up by hail. Here in tx the summers get pretty hot and will actually pop some of the hail dents straight. Not all but some so I could see it work depending on the size of the dent. You could take the bumper off and push it from the inside.

Is this in the plastic fascia? If so I think manually popping back out from the other side and then heating it would help it to retain being back where you've moved it to, but I am only hypothesizing on this.
