Well the clutch, pilot bearing, and throwout bearing are now fixed! HOWEVER...

Now the car has an exhaust leak. And bad. I guess I'll just have to take it somewhere in town have them check it out, I'm so burnt out on the car and I dont have the time. Other than that it drives like a raped ape. Lol. Still grinds in second, the synchros(sp) are fine..I've heard the pro 5.0 shifters have something to do with that? Who knows. But now I cant drive it..Dont wanna cook a valve. :(

I'd swap that shifter out like yesterday if it really is the cause of the grinding. Put the stocker back in and see if it goes away. And the exhaust leak is probably just one of the collector to midpipe bolts loose. I know you're burnt out but crawling under there with a few extensions and taking the 15 minutes to make sure all the bolts are tight is ALOT better than driving it a shop, leaving it there and having to pay someone for something as trivial as that.

Oh and did I mention NOT to let the trans grind??? T5s HATE grinding into gear even more than other transmissions although I wouldn't recommend grinding anything.

Well my buddy thinks its a gasket..I dunno man. I want it done by sunday and with my work schedule its so hard to work on it. Guess I'm not driving my car to work tomorrow..dont wanna hurt it. :(

The only gasket it would be is an exhaust gasket. Well, tighten all the manifold bolts then crawl under the car and get the 4 collector nuts and see what happens. Manifold bolts have a bad habit of backing out which is why I always use locking bolts.
