whats everyones plans for mods this winter?? any big things going on? come share! 8)

im pretty excited about mine and since i dont think theres anyone local to me here ill share. > wasnt really planned for the winter, but its ending up that way. some guys might remember me talking about a 331, well that didnt work out. thats a whole nother story. :

im doing a 347 (dart) with low comp. since i dont know what power adder im getting im just gonna throw in my ford cam for now. twisted wedge heads (already have) and track or r intake. (so my street heat will be for sale soon) also while the engine is out im gonna fill the holes in my bay and get it painted. when the new motor goes in im gonna try to hide some wires. i have lots of lil shiney pieces and painted stuff so when its all done it should look real nice. ill post pics when i get started.

I am getting a cobra r hood, and 03/04 rear bumper and spoiler. That will probably be the extent of my extra loot.

The new wheels will go on in spring, so I just decided yesterday maybe I'll work on getting a 31 spline axle and diff, and possibly a brake upgrade. :dunno: mostly depends on what the husband and parents want to do for my birthday and Christmas... (the husband was trying to talk me into nitrous last year, so he might go that route again this year...)

I talked to my mom earlier, she left Houston this morning, to head out here to visit "us"(though she's really only coming to see my little dude, it's her first and only grandbaby) she said it was about 72 when she left, then i spoke with my dad, he said it was hanging around 82 all afternoon. THAT is perfect weather. Can't wait to leave VA and get back home to Houston... 110* summer's aint shit. thats what swimming pools are for. cold weather is just, BLAH!

It's the obsession he minds, not so much the modding. The obsession leads to me spending too much money, lol. But we used to be really poor, so he likes to spend alot on Christmas and birthdays. It used to be way overpriced jewelry (one of a kind type stuff from like, Bailly Banks and Biddle), until I made sure everyone else in the family knew it was car parts I really wanted. I chose gears over nitrous last year tho, cause I don't know enough about nitrous, and don't want to kill my motor...

my big plan for winter for the stang is to let it sleep, maybe get a few little goodies for it. take out all the egr/smog stuff hopefully get it running great for next year.

other then that my main winter plan is to spend all my money snowboarding and on new snowboard equipment lol
