I've had em' all. But I still prefer an SN95 unit. My old '87 notch, built 306, F cam, longtubes, complete edelbrock top end kit, t-bird coupe rear end, rear disc, 3.73's; it was nasty. But I still prefer an SN95!

i sold my 91 notch back like an ass. But if I had to do it again. I rather have a SN95 over a fox. They are harder to find in good shape and not butchered up. And when you do find one, they are over priced. A 94/94 mustang would make me happy. Even tho I just bought a 96 GT vert, wish it was a 94/95 GT.

Good luck with your hunt!!

i traded my 92 GT for my 97 Cobra... only reason i did is cuz i didnt have near enough money, knowledge, or experience to get the fox in the shape it deserved to be in. It was beat to hell, had like 5 oil leaks, it may or may not have had a blown head gasket when i sold it (lol), like 3 vacuum leaks, but holy hell that thing was fast and it could handle like nothing ive ever seen. it had a vortech blower, gt40s, f cam, 4.10s, tremec T5, 42# injectors, king cobra clutch, racecar suspension, the list goes on and on and on and on and on.
if i was going to build a weekend warrior/track star i would go fox, but for a DD i like my cobra.

the 92... "Maurice" http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3343744

ive had the fox for 4 days now and i like it more than my 95 (maybe because the 95 is slow and the fox hauls ass) but there are some things that i dont like about the fox.

I had a 92 Notch and did a 5.0 swap from a 88lx hatch. Took me a little more than 3 months to do it and then ended up trading it for an sn95. I was happy for a little bit cause I like the sn95s, but I wish I would have kept my notch. I miss it. Body was in perfect condition, built the engine myself brand new 3.55 gears 9 out of 10 interior. :BangHead:

I think it's a mistake if the car is to be used as mostly a street car. Foxes are pos compared to SN95s and the weight difference isn't really that much aside from the notch. I've been in several foxes and i cant stand the interiors, rattles, etc that come with them.

I would kill for a 4-eyed Notch. That look SICK on bigs and littles.

That being said, I was going to look at a Fox this weekend but the owner is about to piss me off. 93LX, full supsension, built rearend, T56, black interior with Corbeaus, reefblue... looked nice but the guy apparently isnt going to give me an oppurtunity to come look at it.

It takes so much money to make a fox look good, they rattle, rust terribly, ugly ass interior. Most are butchered to hell, or people think they are worth their weight in gold. Ill take my 500 more pound sn95 anyday. Better brakes, look a million times better, interior is ligthyears beyond fox's. And i never understand why people try to build fox's there are eight million of them already built and done, and for sale. save some coin and buy one like that. I know the big debate behind built vs bought, but id rather save my coin for something else rather than a depreciating asset.

+1 they rattle a ton. no fun for a daily driver. i wish i would have kept the 95 and had the fox for track use only. im buying the 95 back from my sister a soon as i can.

you will not like a fox as your daily. dont do it. sn95 look way better and ride 100 times better

Rattle a ton? Are you on drugs!? These sn95's might as well been assembled by Fisher Price. Between the two sn95's I have recently owned, I dont think there was a single part of these cars that dont make noise. My old fox was probably the quietest mustang I have ever driven.

sn95's are all plastic, and any plastic that is the least bit loose, rattles like all hell. Although they are more susceptible to rust, the foxes were a much more soundly built car.

I like the SSP's. My dad had a light blue one, and that thing hauled ass. I wasn't a big fan of the interiors of the fox bodies, but they had the power. I'd like an SSP for a weekend car, but I prefer the SN95 for my daily.
