Jasper products..

Did a search of "jasper" and nothing came up...

The car i am looking at got a jasper tranny put in at 70k miles it currently has 100k. I am going to get more info on the swap etc and the exact model number when i go and see it, but has anyone heard of Jasper engines and trannies? Ive seen them in a lot of different car and i dont want it to be sub par to the stock tranny..

Jasper Engines has a good reputation around here. Was not aware they also reman'd trannys as well.

But how do companies like that work? do they have models that replicate what you had stock?

Its a company that basically remanufactures stock engines etc. I know many people who bought there engines and had no issues.

Yeah i found the site and everything was just seeing what ya'll thought about the trannies..I havent heard a ton about them

Its just a stock replacement is all, never heard anything bad about the company and they are pretty big.

jasper indiana is just about an hour north of here and I have toured their facility and own one of their engines after my crank/bearing took a crap last year. They have warehouses all over so I didn't have to pay anything for shipping and got a core exchange as well. Never heard anything bad about them after living here for 30 yrs I would have as I have had a couple of buddys work there as well.

well that is up to you, but they do warranty everything they do and that warranty is available nation wide.
