I have build threads for my Mustang and my TL...so I figured I would log the work I'm going to do to my bike as well.

2003 Yamaha R6
Purchase Date: 4/2/2011
Code/Color: 0564 Deep Purplish Blue Metallic C (DPBMC) <----yes, yamaha actually used the term "purplish" :laughing5:

Tinted windscreen
Smoked flushmount front turn signals
Smoked tails w/ integrated turn signals
Fender eliminator/undertail kit
Stunt Cage w/ rear pegs

Update 4-17-11

The tires were so bald, that I towed it to get the new tires put on (thanks to my buddy's truck)

I got it back today with the new tires, lubed clutch cable, lubed/tightened chain

Time to ride! :headbang:

I love this bike Jon. Ive been thinking very hard lately about just buying a Camry/ accord and getting a decent starter bike. Who needs 4 wheels?

$3,100...you in the market?

It seems like nobody will take less that 3 grand for their bike, no matter what year/mileage. The guy was asking $3,500...so I was able to get him down to $3,100...but he wouldn't go any lower.

Im pretty sure thats the same Jacket that saved my step dad from almost dieing!! That thing is great! He wrecked his 1100 Sabre and the jacket was totally ruined but his hand was the only thing broken on his uper body. The kennedy protection was flatened and the shoulder pads were riped out but he was okay!

The story behind him wrecking was one day after work he was on his way home and around a blind turn some idiot was at a complete stop and he hit the back of it and it broke his leg and then he bounced out of the ditch and landed on the road. But that jacket he says saved him from breaking ribs kidney damage and breaking his shoulders definetly a good buy!!

It was a pretty bad wreck he was in the hospital for over a week and couldnt walk for like 6 or 7 months. He has stoped riding bikes for my mom.

Sorry to hear about your dad's story...but thats good that the jacket works how it should! I bought it online, but I tried it on at a bike shop before I ordered it. Its comfortable and has a lot of protection around the shoulders, elbows, forearms and back.

its alright he's okay now it happened close to two years ago now. but yeah it definetly is!
