Well, it's finally happened. As of December 20th I will be a Californian and as such, there's no chance in hell my Mustang will ever be street legal again so I'm making it a full track car. However, I will still need a new street ride and given that I'll be driving 80ish miles a day to/from school I need me some fuel economy. Sooo, time for me to get a bike and here she is....

The last thing I rode was a 650 Recon dirtbike in the Marines 8 years ago so this is going to be quite the learning experience. It's an 03 Yamaha R1 with pretty much every mod I was looking for and it's in almost perfect condition.

*Gregg's Frosted Clear LED Flushmount Signals
*Custom LED Integrated LED taillight

you were in Force Recon?

No, I had a CO that thought he was Rambo so we did every kind of training he could put us through. Jump school, helo ops, HUMMVE driving, the bikes, amphib, etc. After that I took to riding big 650 dirtbikes in the swamps around our base a lot.

The R1 would kill the Hayausa on the track! The Hayabusa is a 100 lbs heavier than the R1. The only thing the Hayabusa would win at is 150 to 200. Nice bike by the way, just dont be like all the rest of the squids out there and wreck your bike. :thumb:

It may beat the R1 in drag racing but probably not on a road race just because how the bike is built. That is a lot of freakin hp for a bike by the way! :crazy2:
