I dislike the stripe only because I hate having more than one color on a car that isn't white or black. It's just too busy for me. I like the wheels okay, and I like the stripe okay, but green tan and chrome just don't go together for me.

It's cool that you're working on it in his honor though!

Looks cool.. I'm liking the rims on that color... Definitely lower it though, even if only a little bit, it makes a big difference on verts.

I like the stripe. It adds something to the miles of door that our cars have..lol
The wheels are... different and I'm undecided about them. I like that I've never seen them before and they aren't the norm.
+1 on less blurry pics though... LOL

if you threw a potato at the wheel would it make french fries?

I do like the stripe, I really thought about doing that when i had my car repainted but decided with the top stripes it would be too much. When you get the strips painted on, or even now if you can find some new vinyl, have them paint/tape the creases around the corners so you don't see the cracks. you'll have to take the side scoop off to do it, but thats not hard. That will really smooth it out and finish it off.

as far as the drop. keep it around 1.5" otherwise you'll get into problems with alignment. eibach pro-kit or ford racing springs mention before are what i've had and liked.

Thanks for the advice, I do agree that having them "wrapped" would make it look way better!! I'm kind of liking the "ghost" stripe idea, but trying to picture it pretty heavy, I don't want it to only be seen part at a time with the way the words are cut out of it, so I'm thinking something like a white with a thinned out finish coat that matches the car color, kind of like they do candy paint so it's the same green but more visable. How do you guys think that would look?

And I think I'll be going with the Ford racing b springs that where mentioned before.

Also, no my wheels do more of a jullian fries than a french fry pattern, however if I got to a higher speed it could possibly do has browns.

good looking car, a drop will totally change the overall look as well.

We used to have a member from canada I believe that had a black car with similar wheels, it looked awesome. And that style of wheel usually doesn't do it for me.

A drop would set it off nicely and I think a lot of peoples opinions on your wheels would change. I personally wouldn't buy them, but that's not to say I don't like them. They're nice looking on your car, but I wouldn't own them. I like the stripe too. It works well with your color. If you get it painted on, leave the "Mustang GT" script out of it. It'll look much better IMHO is the whole thing is solid.

I think it's a very nice start though. A small drop with a set of Ford springs would set it off nicely without going low low low. I believe it was the B springs, but I could be wrong, that were used on the Bullit stangs.

I honestly thinking if I had it painted to shave off the emblems and just leave it in the graphic

That actually wouldn't be too bad of an idea, but if I was going to do that, I'd move the script in the stripe closer to the door front side of the door. Its current location just kind of has it out in the middle of nowhere. If you post some better quality photos, I'll try and do a quick photoshop of what I'm talking about.
