Looks Like a great starter car!!! Im only 20 but I bought my first car when i was 17. It was a 1995 GT too!! Expcept it was wrecked so i had to cut off the whole front clip of the car and weld on a new one.

If it was my car i would stick with the horizontals. IMO they look better. But both look good

love the paint color, but that body is kinda bad. and its your first car, man if i had a mustang gt as my first car i wouldnt have cared what it looked like. I would have been happy as hell that i had a mustang. Pluss your only 17 you alot of time to make that car every thing you have ever wanted. good luck with the ride and its a super nice car for a project just need alot TLC...

A good starting point for sure... I will echo what others have said and paint the tailight bezels.. Masking off the horizontals and painting the bezels
black would look good, but so would blue bezels with smoked tailights. How wide are those rear tires?

The rear Tires are 315s and the fronts are 275s, And I've been thinkin about masking the taillights off and painting em. As far as that under 20 group goes count me in!
