i got it for 500...had to get on it before someone else did.

I agree, Ive heard for everday driving and autocross these are supposed to be a good improvement. The only reason you find them for sale is someone totaled the car or is making a drag strip monster and went to solid axle. I would have definately bought it for $500. Good deal by far.
