Just got car back from garage. Now it's missing/sputtering?

I just got my car back from the garage, I got some headers and a mid pipe put on. They did a great job of putting it on but in second gear and up it sputters a little bit when I'm driving it casually. If I give it full throttle first gear red lines fine, second has some trouble, like as if it is miss firing. Same goes with 3rd and 4th. And another thing, if I cruise it really low RPM's like 1000-1500ish it will shake voilently, and It never used to do this because I'd always cruise like that to save fuel.

So, is it a bad plug wire? What's the easiest way to check which one it is without replacing them all?

Thanks.

i'm thinking your mech. broke a plug or a wire putting the headers in.or maybe you did it when you tried to remove them. real easy to do if you don't take em out

If it was a fouled up wire / plug you would notice it at idle. (corrected below)

ehhh if its a plug or wire sometimes you only notice it when it's under a load...
This sounds exactly like it. When I try to push it on low RPM's it can't handle it.

Whats the easiest way to fight out which plug or wire it is? Or do I just replace them all?

there is no real easy way to tell which plug is bad. a temp gun aimed at each header tube and find the cold tube and that is the dead plug/ wire. but most peeps don't have that tool so just change all you plugs or wires which ever is cheeper or older and if that don't fix it then change the the other.

To be fair , it could have happened if they pulled the plug wires off out of the way, it could well have been on its way out sooner or later.
There are some crap garages, but it does'nt sound like they messed up because they were useless. :)

I'll tell you as soon as theirs a dry day. My brother has a WRX and he gets me by like a car length if that. So maybe the headers will put with him.

back when i just had exhaust and all my friends liked racing from a roll i raced my friend's 03 WRX from like 60 on the highway. I dropped it in 3rd and he slowly pulled me until i hit about 70 and then i walked right by him. You should be able to take him now i would think.

He tachs it up to 4 grand and drops the clutch and doesn't spin.
