So i ended up trading my old spoiler for some new carpet out of a 95, power washed it, dry cleaned it, and put it in last night. finished at around 4:30 in the morning. haha What do you guys think? It was grey.

Cool.

I just did mine. The ACC mass back carpet in black. It even smells like a new car now.

But yours is ford, isnt it?

Ford should have done this from the factory, black carpet in a lighter color interior looks so good to me.

New carpet is always a huge improvement. Dirty can always be cleaned, but hows the color? It doesnt looked faded or worn! And original OEM fits perfect. I sold my original saddle carpet a while ago. It was mint, made someone happy. haha.

Very cool! Ive talked a little to my step dad about fabbing one up, what did you use to fab it up?

I just ran up to home depot and grabbed some decent wood and made a stencil with some cardboard. I think it turned out decent but you can see in some spots that I am no carpenter for sure. Haha I used some stuff from hobby lobby to wrap it and some 3m adhesive. I recommend not using the adhesive if you are going to use a leather wrap because you can definitely tell where there is high and low spots from the material sticking. I had to rewrap mine and they turned out perfect when I didn't use it. Just staples.

Thanks for all the posts guys! I'm glad the 3 hours I spent putting it in paid off. Haha for some reason I had a hell of a time getting the center consoul out over the e-brake lever. I was a afraid I was going to break the flimsy plastic tabs off of it. Haha

How is the ACC mass back carpet? Was thinking about getting that instead of searching for a decent blk used one?

Not a -perfect- fit, but they give you tons extra and it really is quite plush. (im an interior noob and tried my best tho)

Is it worth to opt up for the mass back? Probably, because didnt ford do it in the new edge cars?...

If I had to do it again, Id pay idk 50-100 bucks for a mint original ford carpet, if it cleaned up perfect. But thats rare as hell. Its just that if im going to put something in my car, I want it factory original or better.

Lucky ninety8stang, cleaned up nice!
