K Member Assistance

My son and I are looking to drop a 351 in a 2000. I have been researching and things come up like get on for a 94-95 so the engine mounts will fit. I am looking for recommendations from anyone that has done it. I just don't want to order the wrong one as we are a ways away from actually having the engine built. but are building the car now so we can get it ready for paint. Engine is going to be the last thing built.

Im not 100percent positive if the original K-member that came in your 2000 mustang will accept 351 engine mounts and work.

Someone else will chime in with more info.

I was always thinking the K-member engine mounting perches locations changed with the modular engine. Like the 94-95 k-member for the push rod engine and then the 96-04 mounts changed for the modular engine.

I was just researching a 302 swap into a new edge v6. Need either a factory 94/95 K Member or something like an aftermarket Maximum Motorsport or other brand that are mad for the sbf family.

So does that mean a v6 version K-member from 94-98 is its own or is it universal? Were the v6 k-members engine mounts like 302 or modular?

Im gonna ask my knowledge base buddies on this one
