I wonder if you could put an eaton from a terminator on a 96-98 dohc?? Those are intercooled too IIRC.

Intake ports are different. Maybe if they make an adapter plate and stuff but who knows.

Well then could you swap a set of 99/01 heads or some 03/04 heads and the eaton onto there? I'd be willing to bet if it could be done then it'd be cheaper than a straight KB and then you'd have an intercooler.

kinda and kinda not. The heads are like 600-1000 bucks and then you usually find the set up for the cobra for like 1000-1500 but it never comes with the lower intake and stuff b/c the aftermarket blowers use the intake.

it really sucks for the 96-98 4valve guy that you need to do all this just to have this style of blower that makes good power without needing 116 in the tank.i would be ready to spend a good amout of money if i could make 600hp or so with this style of blower.

i would like that high rpm hp of a vortec with the lowend of a whipple is that too much to ask :dunno:

no, I don't think it's too much to ask.
twin turbo's or turbo and Positive would get you there.

If everything works out, I think you guys will be interested in the curve of the rotrex. :)

Apparently its a supercharger that is driven by hydraulics. I've been too lazy/forgetful to actually do the search to get the info on it.

Meh, any good turbo kit will spool pretty well by 2800 rpm anyways and they don't suck any power up via a belt drive.
