while searching around on cl today for some new rims and custom exhaust, i came across a 98 pac green gt today and i messaged him about his rims. he responded asking if i was looking to find some more power. obviously, i said yes, and much to my surprise he offered a trade to me for my car. he offered his car plus 3500 dollars. he needed to get rid of the car quick and he couldn't find a v6 muscle car that actually ran that wasn't beat to hell. i'm pretty damn sure it was legit too, but when he asked for pictures of my car, he backed out of it cause he didn't like red -.-
it had a newly swapped trans out of a 98 cobra with like 12k miles on it, and a recently swapped 4.6 out of another gt with 40somethingk miles. i'm not really upset, so much as really surprised.. lol. i almost had some sweet news for everyone haha

haha everyone digs my car. i'm not complaining. and he said it was because my car was mint and he didn't have paint on the hood. it was primed black. kinda strange, but when you find someone with money who wants something they'll do just about anything to get what they want haha. that would have gotten me a full paint job so i guess it makes sense.

So someone offered you a GT PLUS $3500 dollars for your v6?

I don't mean to sound like a douche, but i highly doubt anyone would ever do that.

yeah like dude how much you wanna bet youd get the car and find out its really just a hunk of shit and you would more than regret trading. if it were a legit trade either you would be adding money or he would have to have a very high mileage car with a few problems. gotta beware of them scammers man there all over!

i'd rather have a sixxer that beats all the sixxers though. i mean, the gt community is tough to compete with

So he offered the GT and cash for your car and it had a recently swapped engine and transmission?

Sounds like he couldn't get it to work right and just wanted to dump off his bucket 'o problems. It's probably better that you weren't able to take him up on the offer.

you're probably right. i'd have regretted it.

I know there are some that love those V-6s but I literally turned one down for free.
haha you should have taken it and resold it or something
