So I have a 95 Mustang with around 107XXX miles. Theres a knocking noise coming from the rear passenger side. Idk if its the 3.55 gears the previous owner installed or maybe something with the suspension(sway bar? havnt got to get the car up in the air yet btw). I also recently put wheel spacers on the rear but I dont think that has anything to do with this. Thanks in advance.

When does the knocking noise happen? Can you feel it? Does it affect driveability? More details please.

Only when the car is rolling, low rpms, its worse when going 30-40mph, and it gradually got worse on my way home today. Im not sure if bumps affect it, im gonna take it out in a few hours and maybe jack it up then give another update here.

if its your swaybar busted it usually only makes a sound when you hit a bump, lay down and just yank on the sway bar, if it moves, its broke

you know what, theres not even a rear sway bar. the guy i bought it from had another mustang which is probably where some of these missing parts went(sway bar, strut tower brace, etc.). and dont bad u joints just vibrate, not knock?

I found out the problem! The break pads were sliding out of postition then going back into place making the 'knocking' noise. thanks for your guys' advice though:)
