After close examination, almost all of the lines for the EVAP system are cracked or cracking, and one had a hole through and through. I replaced only the one from the canister purge solenoid to the intake manifold since I only had time for that one, and it was the one with the obvious hole. Tomorrow I'm going to pull my fender and replace those vacuum lines.
After replacing the worst one I could see it runs no better than it did before. Makes me want to believe there is another bad line somewhere in the series.
