Ok, I have a problem. When I drive my car it drives fine, the problem comes when I park it. If the car is warmed up when i shut it off its just fine. But if I drive it up the street to school and the thermostat never opens I leaks antifreeze, a good amount too. It's not just the normal drip. I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem already and can help me figure out what is wrong.

I cant tell exactly from where the leak is, it just started about a week ago. I just haven't had time to mess with it yet.
And I just replaced the water pump last winter.

What did you replace it with what brand??? I know i replaced mine with one from Advance that was what they thought only meant for a 94 Cobra. I was like they have the same block it's the same it has the reverse blah blah blah. They still thought i was crazy. I know Summit has a FRPP i think for around 80 bucks.

Just found a Ford one for 49 bucks

I replaced mine and it started leaking overnight just a few weeks afterwards. Doesn't leak when a drive it, just a very small puddle when they car has been parked overnight.. Don't know what causes it.

Some call that a cold water leak. Basically means it's leaking without the car running. Sounds like you got a bad WP

It's alright if it just keeps leaking like this, Ill manage. But I need to keep an eye on it. I'll order the FRPP wp from summit when I need some more parts and actually have money.

So I might just have a bad wp, so buying a new FRPP one from summit should fix my problem.

you really need to find out where it's coming from first. could be the wp, loose hose, expansion tank. it would suck big time if you replace the wp only to find out a hose clamp wasn't tight enough.
