Take yours, trace it over a thicker piece and save yourself some cash. At least you already have the mold to work with

Not really thought about doing this, yet. It's fine for now. When I had my windows re-tinted he sat back there. I thought it would have broke! Glad it didn't. Thanks!!

yeah the MMR one is pretty thin. i would have had a heart attack if he would have sat on it bc it seems like it would break instantly.

sometimes when i have to fit someone back there i just move the bottom peice to above the speakers in that area and i make them sit on the hard metal, sometimes it gets really hot on long drives so the passanger complains thier a*s burning haha

I just bought one from www.rearseatdelete.comhttp:// a few weeks back. Its not made of wood but composite plastic. I need to pickup some black vinyl to cover it then pop it in. They come with carpet but I requested an unfinished kit so I didn't have to strip off the carpet and glue.

MMRs kit looks like crap, IMO. The backside is unfinished. it just has the MMR logo cut out of the exposed wood.

yeah man i can agree with that. its pretty flimsy and cheap looking too. i mean i guess the less weight the better but it could have been a little stronger. the material on the front sucks and is a sheep skin to vacuum. the back of mine is like spraypainted/ stenciled with the MMR logo. heres a pic

i didnt buy it though, it came with the car. if i wanted to do this and i suggest anyone that does, do like everyone else and just make it yourself, its so simple.
