letting cams sit

I'm planning on buying a set of cms cams, and was wondering if id run into a problem letting them sit till I can install them...

Hopefully not...

should be fine. just make sure you keep them in a safe location as to not damage the journals or lobes because the slightest knick in the journal could cause damage. Do that and it's fine.

get some oil paper(brown paper soaked in oil) and wrap the cams in them. and store them NOT resting on the journals.

i soaked mine in WD-40 and wrapped them in a towel. Still look like new.

i stood mine up right in towels. same as the crank.
